France continue their UEFA Euro 2013 preparations with a match against London 2012 Olympic Bronze medal winners Canada.

The match is scheduled to take place on Thursday 4th April 2013 in Nice (Kick off, 18:30 local time).

France have qualified for the tournament in Sweden this Summer (July 10th-28th) and have been participating in many International friendly matches against tough opponents to get them ready for the main event.

In their most recent fixtures, France have played Germany (3-3) and Brazil on two occasions (2-2 in Nancy and 1-1 in Rouen).

Canada will travel to France after recently competing in the Cyprus Women’s Cup where they were defeated 1-0 in the final by England.

The last time these two sides met was during the London 2012 Olympics, where Canada caused France heartache by beating them 1-0 in the Match for Bronze medal.

Thanks @Jean-Paul – That’s a shame but at least it is being broadcast and there will be chance of highlights. I am interested to see the outcome of this match, because if I remember correctly the French dominated the match for Bronze place at London 2012 only to concede a very late goal and lose. It was another game where France created numerous chances but just couldn’t get the final product.
