Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Emma Byrne pulls out of squad to face Scotland
Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team goalkeeper Emma Byrne has pulled out of the squad to face Scotland due to educational commitments.
Shelbourne Ladies goalkeeper Amanda McQuillan has been called up to the squad to replace the Brighton and Hove Albion stopper, who will join goalkeepers Marie Hourihan and Amanda Budden in the squad.
The WNT travel to Scotland on Wednesday ahead of the international friendly match at Stark’s Park on Friday, with kick-off at 7.30pm.
The 20-player squad will report for international duty later today with striker Stephanie Roche also out of the squad due to a hamstring injury.
