Cameroon are first squad to arrive in Canada for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015.
Cameroon arrived in Vancouver, Canada on Friday 15 May to become the first of the finalists to arrive ahead of the start of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup next month.
The team have arrived early so they can adjust to the climate and time difference. On arrival, the squad were met by the media.
Enow Ngachu’s Cameroon side will continue their preparations for next month’s tournament in Canada. The African nation will play North Shore Girls Soccer Club on 17 May at 4pm at the Windsor Turf Field in North Vancouver.
Cameroon are in Group C alongside Japan, Switzerland and Ecuador. They begin their tournament campaign against Ecuador on Monday 8 June in Vancouver. Here are all the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup fixtures.
This will be Cameroon’s first appearance at a FIFA Women’s World Cup competition.
