Canada to open Four Nations Cup against Korea Republic.

Canada face Korea Republic in their opening 2015 Four Nations Cup game on Sunday 11 January, kick off at 16.00 local (03.00 ET / 00.00 PT).

The game will mark the first of three matches that Canada will play in the round-robin tournament that runs 11-15 January.

Shenzhen Bao’an Sports Center will host the match between Canada and Korea Republic followed by hosts China PR v Mexico at 19:30 local time.

Canada Women’s National Team head coach John Herdman said on CanadaSoccer.ca: “We want to put our best foot forward and get off to a great start. We want to finish top in the group, no different from what we want to do at the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015.”

In 2014, Canada recorded an international record of 4 wins, 2 draws and 5 losses while Korea Republic had 12 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses.

Korea Republic Head coach Yoon Dukyeo has selected a relatively young squad to the tournament in China. Take a look at the competing team’s squad selections.
