Canada Women’s National Team have announced the squad that will face USA on 8 May in what will be Canada’s first home game of 2014.
The international friendly between Canada and USA will take place on Thursday 8 May 2014 at Investors Group Field. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 (local time) / 20:00 (ET) and will be broadcast on Sportsnet One.
This will be the second meeting for the two rivals this year, after USA beat Canada 1-0 in Texas at the beginning of the year.
Featured in the squad is Sura Yekka and Jessie Fleming who were influential members of Canada’s U-17 Women’s National Team who reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup this year.
