Canada v Japan – International Friendly (25 October 2014)
Canada host the World Champions Japan on Saturday 25 October (kickoff 14.00 local time) at the Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton.
Canada will play Japan in a second international friendly on Tuesday 28 October (19.00 local time) in Vancouver at BC Place.
These games against Japan serve as continued preparations for Canada as they get set to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup next year.
When these two teams previously met it was at the 2012 London Olympics, Japan earned a 2-1 win.
Japan have already qualified for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 after winning the AFC Women’s Asian Cup.
