Canada WNT Head Coach John Herdman has announced the 19-player roster for their upcoming International Friendly matches against France and England.

 

Canada will face France on Thursday 4th April 2013 at the Stade du Ray in Nice. Kick-off 12:30pm ET.

 

They will then travel to Rotherham to face England at the New York Stadium on 7th April 2013. Kick-off 10:00am ET.

 

Canada will be meeting France for the first time since the London 2012 Olympic bronze medal match, which saw the Canadians win 1-0.

 

Canada will be looking to bounce back from last month’s defeat to England in the Cyprus Women’s Cup final when they meet in Rotherham.

    Well, as a French I am disappointed of course but not unhappy. Maybe that will help some of my compatriots to stop thinking that France is the best team in the world, due to a quasi-divine law ;o)

    I said it and I persist : for me the favourite of the Euro is Germany, ahead of Sweden and France.

    But I prefer to see Les Bleues losing now than later … ;o)
