Canadian coach John Herdman has invited three additional players to the upcoming preparation camp in Vancouver, BC. Canada’s women’s national team will have less than a week together before travelling to Mexico to join Team Canada for the Pan American Games, Guadalajara, Mexico 2011.

The three invitations were: Jaclyn Sawicki of the University of Victoria, Monica Lam-Feist of the University of Wisconsin, and Amélia Pietrangelo of Rutgers University. All three will briefly leave their school seasons to train with the national team.

 

 

2012 CONCACAF WOMEN’S OLYMPIC QUALIFYING
this coming year’s 2012 CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying tournament will take place in Vancouver, BC from 19-29 January at BC Place Stadium.

 

Canada, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, USA, Mexico, Cuba,

 Will fight for two available tickets to the London 2012 Women’s Olympic Football Tournament.

    Thank you Jean-Paul I was trying to think back to how Pia was received by the fans when she was first appointed.

     

    I think for the well-being of the USWNT everyone should get behind Tom and support him and give him time to settle into the job, at the end of the day the US Soccer association must have taken a lot of time to consider all applicants and they must feel that Tom is the best person for the job.
