Rachel Corsie Called in for Scotland Friendlies

Scotland women’s national team head coach Anna Signeul announced the roster for the team’s upcoming Women’s International Challenge matches. Seattle Reign FC defender Rachel Corsie is among the 20 players selected.

Corsie returns to the roster in preparation for this summer’s UEFA Women’s EURO in the Netherlands. In NWSL play, the defender has appeared in five matches for the club this season, starting three, and has tallied one assist.

The team’s first match is June 9th against Romania. The match will be played at Falkirk Stadium in Falkirk, Scotland. Kickoff is scheduled at 11:00am PT.

The team’s second and final match of the FIFA break during NWSL play will take place on June 13th in Växjö, Sweden at Myresjöhus Arena against Sweden. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:00am PT.
