I only caught the first half of Canada – Australia, by Frappart but I have to say she didn’t convince me, especially in the early minutes she looked very nervous and she was extremely lenient, after that she looked calm and composed, the Red Card was completely correct for me, brave decision well taken. However the situation with AUS#15 could have been dealt with better. Overall okay but could be better from the French.
Meanwhile Chenard has been fantastic in Brazil – China, very confident refereeing. Great feel for the game, correct first caution, well timed verbal warnings, basically perfect foul detection and very confident image. The Canadian has made the game as easy as possible to lead. Very well done!

Did you see the Zimbabwe v Germany match? What did you think of decision about foul on Laudehr? The challenge looks bad enough for a straight red…

Completely expected level from Albon in a very easy match, good start for the refereeing in Brazil!
