Day 4 at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2016

Day 4 of the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup 2016 in which Japan and USA can book their places in the knockout round if they earn second succesive wins today!

On day one of the 2016 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup, Spain and Mexico won their opening fixtures to put them first and second in Group A respectively. Group B saw two closly fought battles as Canada earned a 3-2 win over Cameroon and Germany defeated Venezuela 2-1.

Brazil are also in with a chance to advance early, but the 2008 champions, Korea DPR are standing in their way today. Also, in Group C, Nigeria are looking to bounce back from their opening day defeat against Brazil, when they go head to head against England who earned an impressive draw against Korea DPR to kick off their campaign.

Group D sees the reigning champions Japan take on Paraguay and USA take on Ghana. Both Japan and USA dominated their day one matches and will feel confident heading into today’s fixtures.
