Day Five at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 – Group Stage (11 June)

The second round of Group A and Group B matches get underway at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 today!

Germany, Canada, Netherlands and Norway will be hoping to earn two wins from two, whilst China PR, New Zealand, Ivory Coast and Thailand will be fighting for their first points of the tournament. Keep an eye on all the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 fixtures and results.

The hosts Canada are back in action as coach John Herdman is set to take on his former team, the New Zealand Football Ferns. Canada head into this fixture as Group A leaders following their 1-0 win (courtesy of a Christine Sinclair penalty) against China PR in their opening match. New Zealand currently sit at the bottom of the group, they were defeated by an impressive strike from the Netherlands’ Lieke Martens.
