What a fantastic goal by Caitlin Foord, dribbling through the Japanese defence to score. Personally I thought Japan looked a little vulnerable at the back. They were unlucky with some of their chances though and did really well to come back from 2-0 down. Ogimi made an impact as soon as she entered the game.

Completely agree Gina. Who would have thought that the Matildas would be so effective against the Japanese attack? But Austraila came ready to play, and it was an exciting game throughout.
I will be in the stands again tonight for South Korea vs Myanmar, but I am very excited to see the Thailand team vs, China PR. As an ex-pat living in Thailand, I have to hope for a Thailand victory tonight. 🙂

Agree, very exciting game and Australia look like they do not want to give up their title, it’s going to be an exciting competition.

Fantastic, hope you have a brilliant time in the stands tonight! Good luck for Thailand. Enjoy 🙂
