Are the neon yellow Japan jerseys new jerseys for them, or just temporary ones?

    • Ken Suzuki 6 years ago

New away jersey for 2014. The U23 team already used it in the game against USA in La Manga.

For some reason at half-time when Denmark was 3-0 ahead, they changed their goalkeeper and 2 defenders! I know it is just a friendly but you would think with a 3-0 lead over USA they would try and stay tight

Sweden is lucky to be ahead in this one. They could have gotten a PK against them, and the last shot against the post, I honestly thought it would go in. L8 did have a nice chance though, but Japan had more.

But the most surprising thing today is, What the HELL is happening with the US?!!!

Japan appear a lot more relaxed at this year’s Algarve, has their performance so far received positive feedback from home @Ken?

    • Ken Suzuki 6 years ago

Well, of course, the top players–Sawa, Miyama, Ohno, Sakaguchi, Kinga and others–were missing last year. Besides, the European teams were more serious last year because of Euro, I suppose.

Frickin Live Snooker is on for me….just like last year, but then it was Cycling, but snooker hogged the air time as well during last years Algarve…Who in their right state of mind could possible love snooker this much, that it’s always on…?

      Same here, snooker!!?? 🙁

      • Sebastian Kanty 6 years ago

Swedish commentators just said on Eurosport 2, that the Sweden-Japan game will be moved to Eurosport International, which in Sweden is Eurosport 1, I gather, after the Cycling thingy 😀

Kind of strange, because according to the Nordic countries tv-schedule, the USA-Denmark game should start at 16.00 on that channel.

          WSU 6 years ago

Will check Eurosport 1 in 5 mins.

Maybe at 16:00 we will have to switch back to Eurosport 2 (if the snooker is finished), very confusing lol!

    • cacomistle 6 years ago

so frustrating. I have to go to work after the first half, but now, I guess I can’t watch any of it.
