Irene del Río Peláez has won the first GOTM award for 2016 after hundreds of you voted for her.
The wonder strike was scored during FC Barcelona’s 8-0 win over Oviedo Moderno in the Spanish Women’s Primera División.
Just outside the box, Irene del Río controls an attempted clearance from Oviedo Moderno before taking one step back and unleashing a shot which looped and then dipped into the far corner.
