Denmark women's national football team

Denmark squad named for Algarve Cup 2015

Denmark have announced their squad to participate in the Algarve Cup 2015 next month.

The Algarve Cup is one of the most exciting competitions in the women’s football calender as some of the strongest nations in the world meet in Portugal.

Denmark are beginning preparations for European Championship qualifying towards the European Championships in 2017. Denmark failed to qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, Canada 2015, and head coach Nils Nielsen is focusing on building a new squad ready for qualifiers for the major European tournament.

Denmark hope to achieve positive results at the Algarve Cup, but also to continue the development of the squad.

Denmark are in Group C alongside France, Japan and Portugal, take a look at all the Algarve Cup 2015 groups.
