Edwin Okon releases 26-player provisional squad ahead of Canada 2015
The Super Falcons of Nigeria who jetted out for Toronto via Paris on the 19th of May have been sized down to 26 from the 37 revealed in February 2015.
The Head Coach, Edwin Okon, dropped nine players (all home-based) from the initial provisional list and they include:
Funke Okewole, Chisom Henry, Yetunde Adeboyejo, Chioma Wogu, Onyinyechi Okeke, Gladys Akpa, Ramatu Abdulkarim, Winifred Eyebhokia and Chinaza Uchendu.
However, the girls who are scheduled to play the hosts Canada on the 25th of May in the nation’s capital will be the second of the 23 finalists to arrive; Cameroon being the first.

Of the 26 listed above, three will be dropped after the friendly against Canada.
The final 23 will play New Zealand on a later date.
