Big congratulations to Ellen White who has been voted the Vauxhall England Women’s Player of the Year for 2011 by fans.

In 2011 Ellen white earned 13 caps (only vice-captain Stoney appeared more) and she was joint top scorer with Rachel Yankey, with four goals.

Ellen White earned the majority votes in an online poll for the fans, beating Jill Scott (2nd) and Kelly Smith (3rd).

Ellen told the FA “I’m extremely proud and really grateful,”

This is a well deserved award for the Arsenal and England forward Ellen White, who not only is a talented football player she is lovely person who always seems to have time for her fans.

When Ellen plays football you can see the genuine love and passion for the game, we are sure this is the start of many awards for the young striker.
