England to compete in China Football Association International Women’s Football Tournament.
England women’s national team has announced they will travel to China later this month to compete in the CFA International Women’s Football Tournament.
England will make their way to YongChuan, Chongqing on Monday 19 October ahead of the tournament.
The tournament is scheduled to kick-off on 23 October, WSU will publish fixtures as soon as China Football Association confirm them.
It was first thought that England were to compete in this year’s International Tournament of Brasilia, but this appears to be doubtful for December now.
The CFA held a Four Nations friendly tournament earlier this year in January in which China PR, Canada, Mexico and Korea Republic competed. Canada won the mini-tournament after winning all three of their matches, see the China Football Association International Women’s Football Tournament recap.
England continue their UEFA Women’s EURO 2017 qualifying campaign on Sunday 29 November (3.30pm local) against Bosnia & Herzegovina.
