England squad named for Germany match at Wembley
Mark Sampson names his England squad for Germany International friendly match at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 23 November, kick-off at 3pm local time.
23-players have been called up to the squad for England Women’s historic match against Germany at Wembley Stadium – a record attendance of 55,000 for an England Women’s game.
Karen Carney is set to make her 100th international appearance. Eight of the Team GB side that beat Brazil at Wembley in the London 2012 Olympics feature in the squad.
The match forms part of England and Germany’s preparation for next summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup which takes place in Canada. England qualified for the tournament with a perfect record of ten wins out of ten.
