FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 Draw – 6 December 2014
The draw for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 will take place in Ottawa (Canada) on Saturday 6 December at 12.00 (local time).
129 nations entered the qualifiers for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 and only 24 teams earned their place at the final tournament in Canada.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 will take place from 6 June to 5 July 2015 in Canada. The draw will reveal who the 24 participating teams will face in the group stage and the location of their matches. (Ottawa, Moncton, Montreal, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver are all providing venues).
At the draw will be Canada’s captain Christine Sinclair, tournament ambassador Kara Lang, FIFA Secretary General Jérôme Valcke and FIFA Head of Women’s Competitions and Deputy Director of Competitions Tatjana Haenni.
