Frankfurt and PSG – Head to Head

1.FFC Frankfurt have made it to their record sixth final! Paris Saint-Germain have made history by reaching their first ever UEFA Women’s Champions League Final.

1.FFC Frankfurt and PSG met previously in the UEFA Women’s Champions League 2011/12 Round of 16 with 1.FFC Frankfurt winning 4-2 on aggregate. 1.FFC Frankfurt went on to reach the Final but were beaten by the French club Olympique Lyonnais.

1.FFC Frankfurt have won more UEFA Women’s Champions League titles than any other club, they won in 2002, 2006 and 2008. Potsdam, Lyon, Wolfsburg, and Umeå IK have all won the title on two occasions.

If PSG are successful in the Final on 14 May, Josephine Henning and Fatmire Alushi will match Conny Pohlers’ achievement of winning the competition with three clubs. Josephine Henning won previously with Potsdam and Wolfsburg whilst Fatmire Alushi won when playing for Duisburg and Potsdam.

Sadly, PSG midfielder Caroline Seger is suspended for the final following the booking she picked up during the semi-final (2nd leg) against Wolfsburg.

Full-time: 1.FFC Frankfurt 2-1 PSG

Goals: Šašić 32′, Delie 40′, Islacker 90+1′

Frankfurt win the Champions League!
