Germany’s Euro 2013 preparations continue against Olympic bronze medallists Canada on Wednesday 19th June 2013 at 18:00 CET in Paderborn.

This will be the eleventh meeting between the two sides with Germany winning the last battle during the World Cup 2011 opening group match, 2-1.

Germany have to be cautious; they have lost their sixth key player due to bad health and injury ahead of the Euro 2013 Championship in Sweden. The Canadians are a physically strong team with many threats in all positions of the pitch.

Canada recently played a International friendly against Olympic gold medallists USA in which the Americans won 3-0.

John Herdman has announced his 18-player roster as: Stephanie Labbé, Erin McLeod, Kadeisha Buchanan, Robyn Gayle, Rachel Melhado, Carmelina Moscato, Desiree Scott, Lauren Sesselmann, Chelsea Stewart, Rhian Wilkinson, Emily Zurrer, Kaylyn Kyle, Diana Matheson, Sophie Schmidt, Danica Wu, Mélissa Busque, Adriana Leon and Christine Sinclair.

I did watch the game, but I was also distracted by other things.  So the incident might have happened during one of the times that I might have stepped away because I completely missed it.  I didn’t even know about it until I read on here after someone had posted something about it.

Which stamping incident? The little game of footsies with Simone Laudehr in the defenisve wall or where she stamped on Josi Henning’s nether regions? Pretty sure a trawl through tumblr will find at least one of them

I haven’t been able to find any video footage of the incident, it seems to have been left out of all the highlights of the match I have found so far :/
