Maren Meinert names Germany squad for the 2018 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup.
Germany WU20 head coach Maren Meinert has announced a 21-player squad to participate in the 2018 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup.
The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2018 will run from 5 to 24 August in France.
Meinert’s selection includes five players who were part of the team that reached the quarter-finals of the 2016 Under-20 World Cup; Jana Feldkamp, twin sisters Katja and Dina Orschmann, Stefanie Sanders and Laura Freigang.
Germany will start their World Cup campaign on 6th August in Saint-Melo against Nigeria before playing China on 9th August, and Haiti in Vannes on 13th August.
The top two teams from the group will progress to the quarter-finals.
