Incredible scenes engulfed the Father Agnel Sports Complex in Navi Mumbai on Sunday 20th January as the Indian National Women’s Team created history. They defeated a combined Netherlands team in the second of the two exhibition matches by a solitary goal. The Indian coach Anadi Barua could not believe it and described the victory as historic for women’s football in India. Who would have thought prior to these contests that India one would win? The Dutch players Chelly Drost and Lucie Akkerman ran into a card. According to head coach Mary Kortenhof the team played better than the first game and controlled the game. But credit to India because they did not allow us to score.

@Ken – No, Chelsea is not qualified for C1 and won’t be the next season too, I think…

@Gina – If Anulko said that, that also could mean “When you get to London to join your new team… Arsenal”.

And then, Yuki will be forever in C1 ;o))
