Inka Grings has announced she will end her football playing career at the end of the season.
Currently, the 35 year old is competing in the German Women’s Bundesliga second division with 1. FC Köln.
During the double European champions’ international career between 1996-2011 she scored 64 goals in 96 games for Germany.
In the Bundesliga, Inka Grings has scored 353 goals in 271 matches! Grings won the leagues top scorer position six times and won the Championship with Duisburg.
Grings told the German football federation, “I have a feeling that the time is right,”
The three-time player of the year will pursue her football career as a coach, having acquired her A License.
