France women’s national football team play hosts to England at the Charlety Stadium in Paris this Saturday 20th October 2012 at 7.50pm BST. 

 

Bruno Bini named his selection for the French national women’s team earlier this month with the surprise absence of Sonia Bompastor. Wendie Renard has been forced to miss the fixture due to injury, she has been replaced by Sabrina Delannoy.

 

The French squad to face England are, Goalkeepers: Karima Benameur (PSG), Sarah Bouhaddi (Lyon). Defenders: Laure Boulleau (PSG), Sabrina Delannoy (PSG), Corine Franco (Lyon), Laura Georges (Lyon), Ophelie Meilleroux (Montpellier), Julie Soyer (Juvisy). Midfielders: Camille Abily (Lyon), Kheira Hamraoui (PSG), Louisa Necib (Lyon), Melissa Plaza (Montpellier), Sandrine Soubeyrand (Juvisy), Gaetane Thiney (Juvisy). Forwards: Camille Catala (Juvisy), Marie-Laure Delie (Montpellier), Eugenie Le Sommer (Lyon), Elodie Thomis (Lyon).

 

England will be without injured Kelly Smith, Claire Rafferty and Rachel Brown in this international friendly fixture.
