Jamaica women’s national team appoint Hue Menzies as technical adviser

It is reported that the Jamaican women’s football team is primed for an overhaul following the appointment of Hue Menzies as technical adviser for the national programme.

Hue Menzies is currently based in the United States as the executive director of Florida Kraze Krush football club. Hue was born in England, raised in Jamaica he assisted with preparation for the CONCACAF round of qualifiers.

Jamaica Reggae Girlz did not qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015, but Menzies is reported to have been asked to help develop the national programme on the recommendation of ambassador for Jamaica women’s football, Cedalla Marley.

Menzies and Jamaica Reggae Girlz will begin preparations for the upcoming Olympic qualifiers.
The senior national women’s team are currently looking for a permanent head coach following the departure of Merron Gordon after the CONCACAF qualifiers, Xavier Gilbert is currently the interim head coach.
