Jemma Rose signs for Arsenal Ladies from Bristol Academy

Bristol Academy have today confirmed that defender, Jemma Rose, has left the club to join Arsenal Ladies for the 2015 FA Women’s Super League campaign.

England U-23 International player, Jemma Rose, has been a member of Bristol Academy WFC for four years, reaching two FA cup finals and was the team captain during the club’s historic UEFA Women’s Champions League win over Barcelona in November.

Manager Dave Edmondson said on the official Bristol Academy website; “We’re disappointed to lose Jemma after the contribution she has made, both as a player and as a team captain this year. We wish her well in her move to Arsenal”

“As a club we will move on and plans are in place to not only replace players leaving but to strengthen the playing squad for the coming season.”
