Jessica Landström will sign for Swedish club Djurgårdens as soon as all details with FFC Frankfurt have been agreed upon.
Jessica Landström plays as a forward for the Swedish national team and German Frauen Bundesliga club 1. FFC Frankfurt. And now for the Swedish club Djurgårdens.
After starting her career with four years at Djurgårdens 2001 to 2004, Jessica played for Hammarby IF DFF as a forward from 2005 to 2007. A few weeks after her debut and her first goal for the Swedish national Women’s team, she was signed by Linköpings FC. Her plans after the transfer included trying to earn a spot on the national squad for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She decided to stay at Linköpings FC for 2009 season. In November 2009 Landström signed a professional contract with American WPS team Sky Blue FC.After starting just three of nine appearances for Sky Blue, Jessica negotiated a release and accepted a two year contract to play for FFC Frankfurt in July 2010.
At the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup Jessica scored the winning goal in the group stage win over Colombia, in which Sweden reached the semi final.
