Karen Bardsley of Man City will serve a three-match suspension

Manchester City WFC report that their goalkeeper Karen Bardsley will serve a three-game ban.

The suspension starts immediately after Bardsley admitted a charge of violent conduct following an incident on the field that was not seen by match officials but was captured on video.

It is reported that there was a breach of FA Rule E3 was in relation to an incident involving the Manchester City WFC goalkeeper and Birmingham City LFC’s Freda Ayisi which occurred in the 45th minute of Sunday’s FA WSL game. Freda Ayisi was dismissed at the time for her part in the incident.
