Kellermann, Meinert and Sasaki are FIFA World Coach of the Year for Women’s Football finalists

Kellermann, Meinert and Sasaki are FIFA World Coach of the Year for Women’s Football finalists.

Ralf Kellermann, Maren Meinert and Norio Sasaki are the three coaches to make the FIFA World Coach of the Year for Women’s Football shortlist.

Ralf Kellermann is the manager of the German club VfL Wolfsburg, Maren Meinert coaches the German U-19 and U-20 national teams and Norio Sasaki is the head coach of Japan national team.

The three coaches beat fellow contenders Philippe Bergeroo (France national team), Peter Dedevbo (Nigeria U-20 national team), Laura Harvey (Seattle Reign FC), Pia Sundhage (Sweden national team), Asako Takemoto Takakura (Japan U-17 national team), Jorge Vilda (Spain U-17 national team and U-19 national team) and Martina Voss-Tecklenburg (Switzerland national team) to make the shortlist.

The winners of all the awards will be revealed at the FIFA Ballon d’Or on Monday 12th January 2015.
