Legendary striker Kelly Smith has announced her retirement from international football.
Kelly Smith has today announced her retirement from international football, a legendary striker for England she scored 46 goals in 117 appearances.
Kelly Smith is one of the greatest women’s footballers in the world, her international career has lasted almost 20 years in which she has won 117 caps and scored 46 goals.
Smith made her senior debut in 1995 and has featured in two FIFA Women’s World Cups, three UEFA European Championships and represented Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics.
Kelly is currently focusing on coaching and working her way to get her licences, along with playing for Arsenal Ladies in the FA WSL.
