A fantastic sports bra auction will be taking place to benefit breast cancer, with items from professional players around the World, including World Cup players!

Back in 2010. Three-and-a-half year old Emma Bayer, and her parents Carey and Dave formed a friendship with Atlanta Beat’s WPS player McCall Zerboni, and continues to grow strong even with McCall’s move to Western New York Flash.

Dave founded a charity event last October to raise funds for breast cancer upon hearing of McCall’s interest in the cause, (McCall sadly lost an aunt to the disease).
Now the Bayers and McCall team have organised their own event for Breast Cancer, named, “MZ and Emmers – Soccer Kicks Breast Cancer.”

On July 17, 2011 they will start a week-long eBay auction of over 80 sports bras autographed and decorated by women’s professional soccer stars from around the world. All proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Through friends and former teammates of McCall, Dave was able to make connections to teams in the WPS (Women’s Professional Soccer), W-League and Iceland. Items will be available from, Marta, Maurine, Heather Mitts, Carli Lloyd, Christine Sinclair, Caroline Seger, Ali Riley, Stephanie Labbe, Karina LeBlanc and 11 other Canadian National Team members.

Items are still being accepted. For information, please contact Dave at diract22@aol.com
