Kirsten Nesse interview.

Kirsten Nesse of Bundesliga Frauen side SGS Essen has spoken about her ambitions to finish the season after the coronavirus crisis.

Speaking to Josh Bunting the German star said “I hope we can end the season by playing the last games as normal and hopefully we can reach the next round of DFB Pokal”.

Before the Bundesliga season was suspended due to the Coronavirus, SGS Essen found themselves in 4th place but lost last time out to Turbine Potsdam thanks to a Malgorzata Mesjasz goal.

Speaking about her long term goals at Essen, Nesse said “I hope we can keep up our performance that we have shown in the last few seasons. It will be harder than before as some top performers are leaving the club but we will do our best”.
