Lara Dickenmann leaves Olympique Lyon  to join VfL Wolfsburg


Lara Dickenmann, the top scorer of the World Cup qualifiers, will change from Olympique Lyon in the Bundesliga for VfL Wolfsburg. The 29-year-old has signed a two year contract to 2017

The 29-year-old Krienserin and lead player of the Swiss national team (98 caps / 40 goals) plays since early 2009 in Lyon and won with Olympique seven times the French championship, three times the Cup and the Champions League in 2011 and 2012. In the current season, ahead of schedule is established as a master in Lyon, Dickenmann scored nine goals in 19 Championship matches.


With Wolfsburg Dickenmann changes to the Women’s World Cup in Canada at the best European team in recent years. Second-placed of the Women’s Bundesliga, there are two more Swiss International under contract with the with Vanessa Bernauer and Noelle Maritz, won in 2013 and 2014 in addition to the German Cup and the Champions League. This season, Wolfsburg has been put up in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
