USA increase point lead at top of table in latest FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking – April 2021

The USWNT extend their points total to 2200.39 in the latest edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking – a total they last achieved in 2013, while the Netherlands move up to the third spot.

Since the last edition, USA have played seven games – a total more than any other team – and remained unbeaten!

Notable changes on the rankings table include France who drop from third position to fourth, having been replaced by the Netherlands who earned a record points total for them with 2038.61. Brazil moved up one place to the seventh position while Australia Matildas fell two places down to the ninth position. Former World Cup winners Nadeshiko Japan have dropped out of the top ten

Northern Ireland have made history breaking the 1500 point mark for the first time and recording the biggest point gain of +37.56 in this edition – this follows their victory over Ukraine and securing qualification for the UEFA Women’s EURO in England next year!
