Leah Williamson scores penalty in bizarre 18 second replay to take England U19s to Euro finals!
Leah Williamson showed tremendous strength of character to score penalty during 18 second replay to secure England’s place at this summer’s U-19 Euros Finals in Israel.
The controversial decision to replay the last seconds of the match against Norway came about due to a refereeing error at the end of the match. German referee Marija Kurtes disallowed Leah Williamson’s spot-kick for encroachment during Saturday’s match. But she wrongly gave Norway a free-kick instead of ordering a penalty retake.
