Netherlands international Lieke Martens to join FC Rosengård.
Swedish Champions FC Rosengård has announced the signing of Netherlands international Lieke Martens.
The 22 year old has over 50 caps for Netherlands and was the scorer of the Netherlands’ first goal on their debut appearance at a FIFA Women’s World Cup. Lieke Martens spoke about this experience in an exclusive interview with Women’s Soccer United.
Martens already boasts league experience from four different countries, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and most recently with Kopparberg/Göteborg FC in Sweden.
The contract extends over one year and is just awaiting the physical assessment.
Swedish media Sydsvenskan has revealed that Canadian goalkeeper Erin McLeod and Ella Masar are preparing to join FC Rosengård probably later in the winter but FC Rosengård sporting director, Therese Sjögran said she could not comment further on that right now, it is interesting but there are some details that remain.
