Linda Bresonik resigns from the German women’s national team. The 30-year-old has played 84 international matches for the DFB women. Her greatest success, the native Essenerin in the DFB team by winning the World Championships in 2003 and 2007 and the European Championship titles in 2001 and 2009. At the 2008 Olympics she won the DFB Women also the bronze medal. Bresonik is currently at the French top team Paris Saint-Germain under contract.
Linda Bresonik says: “The decision has matured in me for some time, I’ve done it for almost a year thinking about the EURO in Sweden I could not play due to an injury so, the tournament but I have of course followed Our young team.. did that really great and presents itself prima also in the World Cup qualifiers. I have a feeling that it is now time for the young players to make room.
