Louise McDaniel completed move to Hearts.

Louise McDaniel has signed for Hearts Women ahead of the new 2020 season.

The Northern Ireland International who signed for Blackburn Rovers in September has gone to pastures new signing with the Tynecastle club

Hearts are newly promoted after winning the SWPL 2 title last season and McDaniel follows international team-mates Lauren Wade and Lauren Brennan to Scotland.

Formerly of Linfield Ladies, the 19-year-old made history in 2017 when she became the first Northern Ireland women’s player to score at a major tournament, scoring against Scotland in the Under-19 European Championships held in her home country.

McDaniel scored on her Linfield debut aged only 14 and also scored six goals in a game against Derry City.

She has already won a bundle of trophies, including three league titles, three League Cups and two Irish Cups at Linfield.

She then made her senior international debut last February against Kazakhstan in 2019 World Cup qualifying.

The midfielder commented on her move “I feel like Hearts is the perfect fit for me at the moment, hearing how the manager (Kevin Murphy) want the team to play and the ambitions of the club is really exciting.
I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. “The team are fantastic; I’ve really settled into the squad now.

The staff and players made it really easy for me, it’s such a positive team environment. “This season I want to get as many minutes under my belt as possible and help Hearts Women make a real impact in SWPL 1.”

She could make her debut this Sunday against Rangers where she could meet fellow internationals Megan Bell and Demi Vance who have also recently completed moves to the SWPL.
