England Women’s Head Coach Mark Sampson has announced his squad for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 qualifying double-header in June.
Sampson has called up Fran Kirby from the WSL 2 club Reading. Fran has become the first player from the Women’s Super League division 2 to be called up to the senior squad since its launch.
Fan favourite Washington Spirit forward Jodie Taylor receives her second call up to the squad and goalkeeper Karen Bardsley returns to the squad after recovering from injury.
