Live updates from Matchday 4 of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2017 Championship

The time has arrived for Group D to get underway with Spain, Portugal, England and Scotland taking the UEFA Women’s EURO 2017 stage.

In the earlier match, neighbours Spain and Portugal will go head to head. The two teams only recently played each other for the first competitively during 2017 qualifying in which Spain won 2-0 at home and 4-1 away from home.

Portugal are making their tournament finals debut at the 2017 edition.

Two more neighbours meet for the second match of Group D as Scotland, who also make their finals debut, face tough opponents England. England have won 21 of the 24 encounters against Scotland, two draws and one loss.

It is reported that both Casey Stoney (England) and Hayley Lauder (Scotland) are ruled out this contest with hamstring injuries.
