Live updates from Matchday 8 of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2017 Championship

The top two teams of Group D, England and Spain, go head to head whilst Scotland face Portugal.

Scotland suffered a tough tournament debut defeat by their neighbours, England. In their second fixture they meet fellow debutants Portugal who are also looking to bounce back from a defeat at the hands of Spain.

It is reported that key player for Scotland, Jane Ross, is a major doubt with a shoulder injury sustained during the game against England.

England made the whole of Europe take note when they recorded a 6-0 win over Scotland in their opening fixture. They now face Spain, who also bagged three points from their opening match, against Portugal.

England will be looking for revenge against Spain who beat them 3-2 in the group stage of the 2013 Women’s Euro.
