Live updates from Matchday 9 of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2017 Championship

Group A concludes today at the UEFA Women’s EURO 2017 Championship, who will advance to the quarter-final stage?

Norway have the hardest mountain to climb in order to progress from the group stage having lost both their previous matches.

There is a slight glimmer of hope for the Norwegians, they need a three-goal win and also need to rely on Belgium winning their final group game against the so far unbeaten hosts, Netherlands!

Norway’s opponents, Denmark are currently on three points, they must avoid a defeat in this fixture and rely on other result. The Danes will have to play without Maja Kildemoes who is suspended.

If Norway fail to advance, it will be the first time they have exited at the group stage since 1997.

Netherlands and Belgium will play in front of a sold-out crowd in what is sure to be an electrifying atmosphere.

With two wins behind them already, a point is enough for Netherlands to advance as group A winners.

Belgium will go through with a win, they can also advance with a draw but only if Norway beat Denmark.
