May has been a very busy and exciting month for domestic women’s football as leagues around the world crowned their Champions! Fiorentina FC won the Italian Women’s Serie A, Ajax Vrouwen won the Netherlands Eredivisie Championship, Lyon won the French Women’s Division 1 and French Cup, Atlético de Madrid Femenino won their first Spanish Liga Iberdrola title, VfL Wolfsburg were crowned German Allianz Frauen-Bundesliga Champions, Sporting CP won the Portuguese Liga Futebol Feminino Allianz and Man City lifted the FA Women’s Cup.

With great difficulty we have narrowed the nominees down to just six, which includes a goal scored during the English FA Cup at Wembley, an absolute stunner during the French Cup and a mind blowing free-kick in the FA Women’s Super League!
