Seattle Reign FC remain unbeaten following a 2-0 victory over the Boston Breakers on Thursday, June 19th at Harvard Stadium in Boston, Mass.

Despite being without several key players who are on national team duty, two goals in the first 25 minutes would be all Reign FC would need as the team extended its unbeaten streak to a league-record 12 games. Just two minutes in, forward Beverly Goebel notched her second goal of the season, shooting one past Breakers goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher on the far post to give Seattle a 1-0 lead. It was the first time in five games that Reign FC did not concede the game’s first goal. In the 25th minute, midfielder Keelin Winters would make it 2-0, heading one past Naeher off a corner kick from forward Nahomi “Naho” Kawasumi, and capping the scoring.
