    It is related to the fact that she is from Marseille and she has a slight but distinguishable marseille accent.

    “Peuchère” is an idiomatic phrase used in Marseille or in the Eastern South France overall.

    We used to apply the suffix “ette”  to diminish the idea of a term we want to use as a feminine gender…for instance the Ladies’ French NT are called “Les Bleues”….the youngest U-19 and U-17 ladies are called “Les bleuettes”

    In that case “Peuchèrette” could be perceived as “little girl from Marseille”
