Cook Islands’ 14 year old football prodigy Moeroa Harmon is ready for the 2014 OFC Women’s Nations Cup
Moeroa Harmon of the Cook Islands is just 14 years old and is counting down the days to kick off of the 2014 OFC Women’s Nations Cup.
The 2014 OFC Women’s National Cup starts on Saturday 25 October and will see New Zealand, Cook Islands, Tonga and Papua New Guinea battle it out for the one available ticket to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015.
Moeroa Harmon is a member of the Cook Islands Women’s National Team and has been enjoying every moment of her experience with the senior squad. Her dream to represent her country has come true a lot earlier than expected.
After several of the Cook Islands’ senior players became unavailable for selection for the World Cup qualifying tournament, the youngster received an early call-up.
Moeroa joins her older sister (22 year old) Elizabeth in the Cook Islands WNT to participate in the OFC Women’s Nations Cup.
