More than 20,000 Tickets Sold for WNT Match against China PR in New Orleans.
Fans have purchased more than 20,000 tickets for the U.S. Women’s National Team’s final Victory Tour match, set for the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on Dec. 16 against China PR. Ticket sales for the other three December matches have combined for a total of more than 31,000 sold.
The Victory Tour concludes in December when the WNT will twice play Trinidad & Tobago, the first game on Sunday, Dec. 6, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu (3 p.m. Hawaii Time/8 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1) followed by a match on Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Alamodome in San Antonio (8 p.m. CT on ESPN2). The USA will then play its 2015 Women’s World Cup quarterfinal opponent China twice, the first game on Sunday, Dec. 13, at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona (5 p.m. MT on ESPN2) and then again on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans (7 p.m. CT on Fox Sports 1).
The games will be the final four of the 10-match Victory Tour celebrating the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup Champions.
Tickets for the December games are available at ussoccer.com and by phone at 1-800-745-3000. For the Honolulu match, tickets are also available at all Ticketmaster outlets in Hawaii (including many Walmart locations). For the match in San Antonio, tickets can also be purchased at all San Antonio area Ticketmaster outlets (including many HEB and Walmart locations) and the Alamodome box office (open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
For the Phoenix match, tickets will also be sold at all Phoenix area Ticketmaster outlets (including Fry’s Marketplace) and at the University of Phoenix Stadium box office (open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.). And for the final match in Louisiana, tickets can also be purchased through all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout New Orleans area (including many Walmart store) and the Smoothie King Center ticket office (open Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
